DDV, playing on the most beautiful claycourts in Amsterdam
Since its foundation in 1904, ALTC DDV has been one of the oldest tennis clubs in the Netherlands with a rich tennis tradition. DDV is a large, social and inclusive tennis community where everyone feels at home and can enjoy what connects us all: our love for tennis! On our fifteen well-maintained and illuminated outdoor clay courts in Amsterdam Zuid (South), we combine fun, social and recreational tennis, for all ages and levels and for all nationalities (expats), with performance tennis. The snug Clubhouse (ReadyRoom) with large outdoor terrace is a fantastic place to enjoy the sun and delicious food and drinks while watching a nice game of tennis.
There are plenty of activities/events at DDV and many members play in the spring and autumn competitions, day tournaments, club evenings and play ladder against each other. You can follow tennis lessons with our own coaching staff. And our youth department with about 300 members is very active with the highlight of the year, the tennis camps. We have an enthusiastic 55+ department with toss matches and tournaments, with the top event being the annual tournament with Festina (another tennis club) battling for the famous VET-CUP.
Everyone is welcome at ALTC DDV located at the Frans Otten Stadium complex where our tennis club organizes many tennis activities for young and old.
